About

Neha Seshadrinath is an innovative and versatile performer of Indian classical dance forms. Since a very young age, Neha showed a keen interest in performing arts. She initially took to learning Bharatanatyam, a South Indian classical dance form, in her formative years. Later, she shifted her focus to Kathak, of North Indian tradition. She has been trained in Kathak and Bharatanatyam under the tutelage of Smt. Nirupama and Shri T. D. Rajendra of Abhinava Dance Company (ADC) for over 17 years. She has worked as a principal dancer and a faculty member at ADC and has performed at a number of prestigious festivals and events throughout India. Along with the company, Neha has also performed in acclaimed international festivals in countries such as Hong Kong, UK, US, China, Bahrain, Singapore and South Africa. Neha is also a successful solo performer in her own right. She has worked with international dance companies such as Sampradaya Dance Company, Canada, where she featured in their acclaimed production titled "Taj Mahal". She has also worked under Guru Padmabhushan Smt. Kumudini Lakhia in one of her productions which was performed in Russia. Neha is a recipient of “Young Artist Scholarship” awarded by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India and is also a graded artist of Doordarshan, Bangalore. She is a trained Psycho-social Rehabilitation and Counseling professional and holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology. She is currently exploring possibilities of using dance movements in psycho-social rehabilitation and is open to exploring collaborative ventures. Neha is now residing in Brno, Czech Republic and continues to perform, conduct classes and workshops around Europe.
