Neela Ramanuja is a popular Carnatic vocalist, focused on dance recitals. She started her vocal training from the age of 5 and pursued her education in music. She is a disciple of Smt. M. Subhashini Vijay Santhanam. Being a management graduate, she continued her passion towards music. She is one of the most sought after Carnatic vocalist for dance recitals. Along with the dance troupes, she has travelled throughout the world. She is well known for creating themes and recitals for the classical dances. Smt. Neela is an "A" grade artist in All India Radio (AIR). She has received several awards like "Kala Arathi Ratna", "Kala Arathi Vibhushana" to name a few. She has also released several classical and light music CD's, receiving good reviews.
