Dr.Nandyala S Ramamurthy is a senior most Mridangam Vidwan. He is the founder of "Nada Brahma Sadguru Sri Tyagaraja Ashram" and disciple of Dharmala Garu. As a graded artist of All India Radio, he has performed programmes for AIR and Doordarshan. Dr. Ramamurthy has performed at prestigious sabhas and music festivals all over India. He has given many discourses on Sri Thyagaraja's Kritis and aims to expand its relevance to the current generation. He is a respected teacher and many of his students are performing all over the world.
