Savita Rao is an eminent Carnatic musician, from Bangalore. Her mother Smt Kannamma Kothandaraman was her vocal guru and later learnt under Radha Venkatachalam, of Delhi University. Savita has performed in many prestigious sabhas of India and have won several competitions conducted by them. She extensively conducts concerts all over India and United States. Savita has settled in United States for good , where she performs and teaches Carnatic Music.
