Sai Shiv Lakshmi Keshav is a professional Mridangam artiste and a disciple of world famous Kaaraikudi Mani. He is one of the A grade artistes with All India Radio (AIR). Sai Shiv started his training under the guidance of Shri V.Nagabhushanachar, but was passionate about following different styles of performances my eminent artists. Sai Shiv was always fascinated by the unique style of Shri Guru Kaaraikudi Mani. To be his disciple was his long term desire and was accepted as one, after he performed for him on 2006. Because of advanced and intensive training by Kariakudi Mani's gurukulam based teaching at Chennai, Mr. Sai Shiva was able to learn the intricacies and complexities of the musical instrument. He performs both as solo percussionist and part of his guru's ensembles. He also accompanies other renowned artists and had performed in many of prestigious organisations of South India. Sai Shiv established an initiative called - Rhythms of Mysore, to promote unique ideas in Carnatic Music.
