Malleswaram Sangeetha Sabha came into existence since 1948 at Malleswaram, Bangalore. It is second oldest Sabha of Bangalore, thanks to the efforts of T.B.Narasimhachar. He is a music enthusiasts who got inspired to create a club for promoting Carnatic music. He promoted the Sabha by inviting several members to join, to increase the awareness in music. His aim was to motivate young talents in music. The Sabha provided opportunities for them to perform for a larger audience. It also conducted the famous ‘Tiger’ Varadachar Memorial music competition" . Narasimhachar developed the concept of monthly news bulletin "Nadopasana", publishing the concert schedules.
