Vidwan Mahesh Swamy is a popular classical Flautist and Vocalist, also well versed in Morsing, Harmonium, Veena and Theatrics. He is born into a family of musicians and film industry personalities. He showed interest in singing, poem writing in his early age, without any formal training. Vidwan Veerabhadrayya encouraged him to learn the flute, which he trained himself and started playing film songs. He later trained formally for flute, under Vidwan M S Srinivasa Murthy. He has performed his original compositions in many concerts in United States, Europe and Asian countries, along with the dance group Shakti Dance Company.
