Smt. Madhavi Rajagopalan is a veteran Musician and Musicologist. She is one of the top musicians. Madhavi is a disciple of Thiruppampuram Swaminatha Pillai and Padam exponent T Jayammal. She had done research on Tamil Padam composers. She did research on their contribution to Carnatic music. She has presented many lec-dems on the theme, including at the Music Academy. She also did at the recent centenary celebrations of T Muktha.
