Khechara Academy is the dreamchild of the couple Shridhar and Anuradha Sridhar. Shridhar himself besides being a dancer is an award-winning actor (in Kannada). In Karnataka, the couple is famous for their great sense of imagination. They understand the technicalities of the dance forms. They hold programs around the year and nurture the talent of their group. They choreograph the stage shows. They have received their training under Guru Smt. Radha Sridhar and later at Kalashetra. The Shridhars’ troupe has received accolades for their performances in many countries. They are the USA, France, Germany, Switzerland, the UK, Singapore, Kenya. They have also performed in the Gulf countries. Their talent is not limited to training, choreography, and stage performances. They have also taken out DVD of their performances in Bharatnatyam. It is “Rasawada”. The Karnataka Sangita Nritya Academy is the producer of the DVD.
