Karthik Hebbar is a proficient vocalist in the field of Carnatic Music. His mother Smt.Vidhya Hebbar was his source of inspiration for Carnatic music, and he refined his skills under the guidance of Ganakalabushana Vid. Guru. R. K. Padmanabha. He is one of the outstanding student in RKP school of music. His presence in various musical workshops, earned him interaction and contacts with legends like Sangeetha Kalanidhi R K Shrikantan, to name a few. To expand his knowledge in music, he learnt music from Sangeetha Kalaacharya P S Narayanaswamy, in Chennai. He has given performances and concerts extensively in many prestigious sabhas of our country.Karthik has won several awards and earned many titles for his contribution to the field of Carnatic music. He is the head of music at Shankara Foundation of arts and have his own school associated with Samskruti, in Bangalore. Karthik has scored background music for short films and a regular face seen in many television channels.
