Kalasindhu is an Academy of Dance and Related Arts. Poornima Gururaja founded the Kalasindhu Academy of Dance and Related Arts in 2009. Kalasindhu dedicates itself to the propagation of Indian arts and culture. The school offers integrated holistic education in classical arts. That includes dance, music and visual art and Sanskrit, the main focus being dance. Kalasindhu has dedicated to nurturing creativity in children and adults alike. Kalasindhu offers lessons in music, Sanskrit, and visual art. These are all related to the dance education. Students receive detailed training in Bharatanatyam. Kalasindhu also trains students in folk and fusion numbers.
