The JSS Sangeetha Sabha is founded to popularize and encourage classical music. Hitherto more than five hundred concerts have been organized in which artistes of national and international fame have participated. Apart from encouraging local artistes, budding and upcoming artistes are also being encouraged. For this purpose a separate youth wing under the JSS Sangeetha Sabha has been started. It is also organising music appreciation workshops and music competitions to develop aptitude and love towards classical Carnatic music among youngsters. The Sangeetha Sabha is organising Sangeetha Sammelana every year in December in connection with the commemoration of Dr. Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamiji’s Jayanthi. It has plans to start music classes in the near future. Sri Math also organises Moonlight Music on every full-moon day. This has attracted many people of interest.
