Vidwan J.S.Shreekantha Bhat is one of the most respectful Carnatic musician. He is the disciple of Vidwan Sri Shringeri H S Nagaraj. His interest in Carnatic music knew no bounds, and serves as an inspiration to many aspiring young vocalists. He has given numerous performances across India and abroad, that has earned him numerous awards and accolades. Vidwan Bhat has a keen interest in teaching, and is the founder of "Shree Anugraha Sangeetha Mahavidhyalaya". He conducts workshops for women, senior students and aspiring vocalists to provide opportunity for performing in prestigious festivals and sabhas. His students have participated in several music competitions and won prizes, thanks to Vidwan Bhat's encouragement.
