Geetha Ramanand commenced her tutelage at the age of 9, under Smt. Ranganayaki Sunder Rajan. Since then there was no looking back. She honed her nuances under Late Sri. C Krishnamurthy, a disciple of Veena Maestro Dr. V Doreswamy Iyengar. She is a master's degree holder in Music. She has a musical career spanning over 45 years. Geetha has given performances at various prestigious sabhas across Karnataka. She was a nominated member of the expert committee of Carnatic Music, by Govt Of India. She is an 'A Top' artiste of All India Radio and Doordarshan Kendra. She has written and directed several musical features. She is the founder and Managing Trustee at Swaraveenalaya Centre for Performing Arts. The Trust tutors students across the world in Vocal, Veena and Mridanga. Revathi Murthy is also a Veena Artist.
