He has done Sangeet Visharad from Bhatkhande University, Lucknow and also from Bangiya Sangeet Parishad, West Bengal. He has 30 years of experience in teaching Vocal Music. He is teaching and preparing students for Prayag Sangit Samiti, Allahabad and Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh Vocal Music examinations. His wife is also an accomplished singer and vocal teacher.
