She is a Carnatic performer, teacher based in Bangalore. Ashwini Satish specializes in Carnatic classical, Semi-classical and Light music. She was inducted into music at an early age and having gained skill in vocal music, her quest for knowledge continues and she is undergoing advanced learning. Ashwini Satish has also studied musicology and she has secured Gold Medal in MA music from the University of Mysore. She is an active performer and dedicated teacher. She has performed in most of the prestigious concert platforms across India and Overseas. Her contribution to the field of music has also been recognized by many organisations which have bestowed honours on her. She is also an active writer of music articles and has also produced many discs. Ashwini Satish has had a meritorious academic record in music with a basic foundation in science. She has completed BSc.,from Kuvempu University. Having secured First class in Vidwath examinations conducted by KSEEB she pursued her Masters in music from the University of Mysore. Her pursuit in musicology had a glorious culmination when she secured Gold Medal in her master's program. She is also a recipient of HRD scholarship by the department of culture New Delhi between 2001 to 2003.
