Ashwin Anand is an upcoming Veena musician, from Bangalore. At the age of 8, he started training in Veena from Prof. H.V. Krishnamurthy. He trained under his guru for 17 years and also completed advanced courses from government scholarships. He gave his first concert at the age of 13 and soon became a well-known face in the music circles. He formed an ensemble with H.K. Venkataram (violin) and G. Ravikiran (Flute), giving many concerts. Ashwin Anand is currently under the tutelage of Vedavalli. His recitals were well received in prestigious sabhas of South India. He is the recipient of awards like "Ananya Yuva Puraskar", "Spirit of Youth prize", to name a few.
